Guwahati, 30th October 2024 – North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hare Krishna Movement, Guwahati, to provide Satvik meals as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. This collaboration aims to support patients and their attendants at the B. Barooah Cancer Institute through the PURE FOR CURE initiative, which emphasizes nutritious, wholesome and Satvik meals.
The MOU was signed during a ceremony held at NEEPCO’s office, attended by dignitaries from both organizations. The partnership is designed to address the dietary needs of cancer patients, recognizing the importance of nutrition in the healing process. Satvik meals, which are prepared with fresh, vegetarian ingredients, will be offered to enhance the well-being of patients and their families during their treatment.
Speaking on the occasion, a spokesperson from NEEPCO stated, “We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for patients undergoing treatment.
