Distributing freshly cooked, sanctified meals to patients, caregivers,
orphans, elders, and everyone in need — one plate at a time.
"No one should go hungry"
— Srila PrabhupadaPure for Cure (PFC) was founded on the timeless vision of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada — Founder-Acharya of the Worldwide Hare Krishna Movement — whose directive was simple yet profound: "no one should go hungry."
Based in Guwahati, Assam, we distribute freshly cooked, sanctified food (prasadam) to patients, caregivers, orphaned children, the elderly, and underserved communities across India's North Eastern region — and growing.
"To offer pure, sanctified food (prasadam) with affection to patients, caregivers, underserved communities and everyone in need at hospitals, orphanages, old age homes, slums and wherever required — thereby addressing hunger and malnutrition while nurturing the spirit of selfless service."
We go wherever hunger exists — hospitals, orphanages, old age homes, and slum communities.
We serve freshly cooked, nutritious meals to patients and their caregivers in hospitals — offering nourishment when they need it most and reducing the burden on families.
Children in orphanages receive wholesome, lovingly prepared prasadam — ensuring they grow with proper nutrition and the knowledge that they are cared for.
From old age homes to urban slums, we reach the forgotten corners of our society with warm meals, dignity, and the assurance that no one is invisible to us.
Every meal is prepared in our dedicated kitchen following strict hygiene and quality standards. Each dish is offered (prasadam) before distribution — a spiritual practice that infuses the food with purity and intention.
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada — Founder-Acharya of the Worldwide Hare Krishna Movement — believed that spiritual practice must go hand-in-hand with social responsibility. His vision: that every temple should feed the hungry without discrimination.
Pure for Cure is the living embodiment of that directive. Every meal we serve is an act of devotion — offered to the divine before reaching the hands of those in need.
"Feeding the needy is not charity, it is our social responsibility."
