1 Acceptance of Terms & Entity Identity

Welcome to the official website of Pure for Cure (pureforcure.org / hkmguwahati.org). By accessing this website, making a voluntary donation, signing up for volunteer service, or participating in any outreach initiative, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Pure for Cure is a humanitarian compassionate food distribution initiative organized, managed, and executed under the aegis of Hare Krishna Movement Guwahati, a registered religious, charitable, and public welfare trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, headquartered at Hare Krishna Movement Marg, Ghorajan, North Guwahati, Assam – 781031.

2 Donations & Section 80G Tax Exemption

All financial contributions made to Pure for Cure are purely voluntary and categorized as unconditional charitable donations toward free food distribution (annadanam) to impoverished hospital attendants, caregivers, cancer patients, and disaster victims:

  • Tax Exemption Benefit: Donations made to Hare Krishna Movement Guwahati are eligible for 50% tax deduction under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961.
  • Mandatory PAN Requirement: In strict compliance with Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) notifications, donors seeking an 80G certificate must provide their valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) and full legal address. Without a valid PAN, the donation cannot be registered on the Income Tax Portal (Form 10BD).
  • Form 10BE Issuance: Pure for Cure generates an instant verifiable donation receipt with unique transaction reference on screen. Formal Form 10BE certificates are submitted to the IT portal at the end of the financial year and emailed to the registered email address.
  • Currency Acceptance: Online payments are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR) through domestic cards, UPI, Netbanking, and approved payment mechanisms.

3 Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because Pure for Cure operates an active nutritious meal kitchen where food grains, fresh produce, and logistics are committed immediately to daily cooking schedules, donations once successfully executed are considered final and non-refundable.

Exceptions for Duplicate or Technical Discrepancies:
  • If an amount is debited more than once due to a banking network glitch or payment gateway timeout for a single transaction intention.
  • If an unintended excess amount was keyed in by clerical error and reported immediately.

In such verified circumstances, the donor must email a formal written refund request to info@pureforcure.org within seven (7) calendar days of the transaction date, including payment proof, bank statement debit screenshot, transaction reference ID, donor name, and contact number. Upon audit verification, the eligible excess amount will be processed back to the original funding account within 7 to 10 working days (subject to standard banking reconciliation timelines).

4 Transparent Allocation & Use of Funds

Pure for Cure adheres to strict financial transparency and audited governance. All contributions are allocated exclusively toward:

  • Procurement of FSSAI-tested raw ingredients (rice, dal, pure spices, fresh vegetables, cold-pressed oils).
  • Hygienic semi-automated kitchen operations, LPG fuel, water purification, and stainless-steel insulated food transport containers.
  • Customized insulated meal distribution vans operating daily between North Guwahati and hospital kiosks (AIIMS Guwahati, Guwahati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), BBCI).
  • Biodegradable, food-grade eco-friendly paper packaging and disposable cutlery.
  • Immediate emergency relief mobilization during Assam flood situations.

5 Intellectual Property & Content Use

All content published on this website – including but not limited to text, photographs, beneficiary case studies, video footage, graphics, logos, emblems, and visual assets – is the sole intellectual property of Pure for Cure and Hare Krishna Movement Guwahati.

No individual or commercial entity is permitted to copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any material from this website for personal gain, third-party fundraising, or defamatory purposes without explicit prior written authorization from the trustees of Hare Krishna Movement Guwahati.

6 volunteer service Code of Conduct

Volunteers participating in Pure for Cure hospital distribution, kitchen service, or disaster rescue agree to maintain the highest standards of dignity, hygiene, and compassion:

  • Respect for Beneficiaries: Dignity of every patient and caregiver must be honored. Discrimination on caste, creed, religion, language, or social standing is strictly zero-tolerance.
  • Hygiene Protocols: Volunteers must wear headnets, clean aprons, sanitizers, and gloves while serving fresh Sattvik meals.

7 Payment Gateway & Third-Party Services

Pure for Cure does not store or process debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, or netbanking passwords on its servers. Pure for Cure shall not be held liable for any technical loss or interruption arising directly from bank server downtime, internet outages, or fraudulent access to your personal payment credentials.

8 Governing Law & Legal Jurisdiction
